Latest podcast episode with Travis Bohall of UC Riverside Baseball. The Senior CF was hitting .344 when the 2020 season was shut down, due to the pandemic. After a standout prep career in Reno, at Galena HS, Travis played for two seasons at the College of Southern Idaho, where he was a teammate of UCR Baseball Alum, Justin Mannens. Since arriving at The Plex, Bohall has established himself as a top-of-the-order bat, as well as a defensive ace in center field.
Over his career, Bohall has 71 base hits in 61 games, for a .335 average & .399 on-base percentage. In 212 career at bats, he’s collected eight doubles, two triples, a home run and 16 RBI. Bohall also has swiped 23 bases in 29 attempts, and has fielded 137 straight chances, in center field without at error, dating back to April of 2019.
Coach Troy Percival lauds both Bohall’s approach at the plate, along with his top-flight defense, as assets that helped the Highlanders win nine of their last twelve games in 2020. He’s also an electrifying base runner, as he displayed on February 25th, against UNLV, at The Plex.
