Big West Tournament Journal

Day One

Tuesday, May 12th, and Henderson is still somewhat sleepy. As players coaches and fans arrive, things should pick up soon. The First Round of both the Big West Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships, will take place tomorrow, at The Dollar Loan Center.

As for me, checked into the Sunset Station, in Henderson, while the team has decided to stay off the strip. I like being closer to the venue. There will be plenty of time for the sights and sounds of the city, as we get deeper into the tournament. But for now, business. Final touches on spreadsheets, and printing of spot charts need to take place, Shirts, pants and jackets need to be ironed. For tomorrow, the games begin.
